Every wedding is unique, and to best serve our clients, we offer customized photography packages based on individual needs. We take the time to collaborate with your planners and understand your vision, which allows us to create a personalized quote just for you. What is your pricing?

We do not offer videography services. However, we’re happy to share our recommendations for talented videography teams that we trust.

Do you offer videography services?

A

For digital photography, we shoot with Sony cameras and lenses, paired with Profoto speedlights. For film, we use several cameras, including the Contax 645 and Canon 1V. We always bring backup gear and have our equipment serviced regularly to ensure everything is working flawlessly on your wedding day.

What gear do you use?

All images you receive will undergo minor retouching, including blemish removal, cropping adjustments, color correction, and subtle edits to smooth out flyaway hairs. Our goal is to ensure the images look natural and timeless, removing only distractions that take away from the beauty of the moment.

Will all my images be edited? What type of editing does your team provide?

The images you’ll receive are a curated selection that best captures the essence of your day. We carefully choose the final set, making sure each important moment is documented. We exclude images that are blurry, unflattering, or show the subject blinking, ensuring you get only the most beautiful, high-quality images.

Do I receive all the images you take?

Note: Weekday City Hall elopements typically only include one photographer.

How many photographers are included in your wedding coverage options?

A

We include a second photographer on your wedding day unless you’re expecting 25 guests or fewer. We also bring an assistant to help with equipment and ensure everything runs smoothly. This allows our photographers to focus solely on capturing beautiful moments!
The number of photos delivered depends on factors such as the venue, number of guests, and timing. On average, you can expect around 70-100 final photographs per hour of wedding coverage.

How many photos will we receive?

Your final payment is due one month before your wedding date. You will also need to confirm the amount of coverage you'd like by this time.

When is the final payment due?

Note: For Weekday City Hall elopement packages, final payment is due on your wedding day.
Your final images will typically be delivered within 8-12 weeks of your wedding. During slower seasons, they may be ready sooner. If you need a few photos for thank-you notes or sharing, we can send samples upon request.

When will we receive our images?

Note: Weekday City Hall elopement images are delivered within 4-6 weeks.
While we generally don't offer discounts, we understand that weddings can be costly. Please contact us if you're hosting a smaller, weekday wedding, as we may be able to provide a special rate in these circumstances.

Do you offer any discounts?

In California, photography services, including high-resolution images, prints, and photo albums, are subject to sales tax. We include a 10.25% sales tax on all coverage options.

Do you offer custom coverage?

Yes! You can easily order prints directly through your online gallery. We recommend using mpix.com for high-quality prints at an affordable rate. Additional USB drives are available for $150 if you'd like copies for family members.

Can we order extra prints or USB drives?

To book Amanda Wei Photography, please reach out via our inquiry form above. Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll send a custom contract for you to review and sign. To secure your wedding date, a signed contract and a $3,000 retainer (applied to your final balance) are required.

How do we book you?

Note: For City Hall elopements, a $800 retainer is due upon contract submission.
We accept cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We love traveling for weddings! We’re available for destination weddings almost anywhere. Please email us for more information on travel fees and custom packages.

Are you available for destination weddings?

We understand and respect your privacy. If you prefer that your images not be shared on our blog, social media, or website, just let us know in advance.

What if we’d like to keep our images private?

A

We offer complimentary venue walkthroughs for local weddings if scheduled on a weekday when Amanda is available. We recommend scheduling during a time similar to your wedding day to get a feel for lighting conditions. For venues outside the Bay Area or destination weddings, please contact us for travel logistics and coverage.
