You may remember this adorable couple, Vikki & Joey, from their colorful and romantic engagement session at Pinole Coffee and Legion of Honor with their fur-baby, Bebop. Well- hold your hats people. Here we have for you- their very own, handcrafted, elegant, and romantic wedding at the San Francisco Bently Reserve as seen on WeddingChicks.com!

Vikki and Joey’s big day is one of those weddings you would never guess was DIY. It’s just that pretty! The Bently Reserve in San Francisco was the perfect blank slate to host their indoor nuptials, and they chose neutral + blush hues along with lots of greenery to bring their modern romance to life. The marble tile escort cards are one of our fave DIY details and that’s just the beginning.

From the Bride:  I wanted a Modern Romantic Indoor Wedding with greenery (although there wasn’t enough of this on Pinterest so I kind of had to just envision it) My color palette was blush/neutral with pops of green. We wanted our dog to be the name of the cocktails so our friend, Chef Matt Brown made the cocktails based off of a recipe from our favorite bar in San Francisco, Trick Dog. Our friend even designed the bar menu to include cartoon photos of our puggles, Bebop!

Favorite moment: My favorite moment was when all the guests were dancing with their glow sticks on the dance floor. Favorite crafted detail: My marble tile escort cards- I’ve seen them used at all of our friends homes! Flowers: Peonies, Ranunculus, lots of eucalyptus! I also loved how the Tono and Co. ribbons flowed romantically on my bouquet. Cake: I wanted to contribute the marble and blush elements of my wedding with some gold-fleck details on the cake. Wooden doll pegs that were hand-painted by our friend using toothpicks as her brush! Piece of advice for brides: If you have the time, don’t be afraid to DIY. Guests are usually very impressed with the results and it saves you a ton of money.

On their venue: The both of us are locals of San Francisco and spent our whole lives here. We love that the Bently Reserve is the old Federal Reserve Bank and has been in San Francisco for 60 years! When we were choosing our venue, we wanted to incorporate a bit of San Francisco history as well as our love story. We met a couple of blocks away and have walked past the Bently Reserve during multiple lunch dates. It just made sense for us to celebrate our union here in front of all of our family and friends.
