Brittany and Chuck went through a lot to get to this gorgeous day, but in the end, it was perfectly full of joy and love. After a few postponements and some family hardship and tragedy, the couple decided to let go of their destination wedding dreams, and find the best venue in their hometown. I drove down to San Diego and joined them for their magical Park Hyatt Avaria Resort Wedding.

The Park Hyatt Avaria Resort wedding venue turned out to be the perfect location for this special couple’s big day. Their ceremony was highly personalized, which made it all the more sweet and emotional. They honored loved ones who had passed on in beautiful and meaningful ways, and they had a separate ceremony where they shared personalized vows in private, as eyes filled with happy tears. Finally they made joyous and dramatic exit through a shower of dried flower petals thrown over them by their guests and loved ones.

Their wedding was so beautiful and so much fun- and it turned out that celebrating close to home can sometimes be the best thing to happen after all! Congratulations Brittany and Chuck, we wish you all the best.
