Recently, I had the pleasure of getting to capture this sweet couple’s engagement session in San Francisco, and it was magical! This couple wanted to have casual photos, formal/romantic photos, and a relaxed vibe. They wanted photos that truly represent them and their relationship. I’m so glad we got to shoot in such gorgeous places, it felt like a perfect session. Esther and Brian were so much fun and capturing their engagement photos was an awesome experience!
First, we headed to Mission District and went to 20th Street coffee bar. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and a perfect picture spot. We were able to get some great shots of them laughing, talking, and stealing kisses. It was a great start to the session and really set the tone for the rest of the day. Next, we headed to the Legion Of Honor Fine Arts Museum. This is where we took the more formal portraits. They came out so beautiful with the huge pillars and dreamy hallways as the setting. It was the perfect place to capture the couple’s love for art and each other.
Finally, we headed to Baker Beach at the Golden Gate Bridge. We got there just in time for golden hour, and the sunset was gorgeous! I was able to get some amazing shots of them walking along the beach and looking out at the bridge. We got some shots of them running around and splashing in the water too! I felt like this part of the session truly captured them as couple and showed the love they have for each other so beautifully. It was the perfect way to end the session and capture the couple’s love story.
Overall, it was such a pleasure to photograph this special engagement session in San Francisco. And I’m so honored that they’ve asked me to shoot their upcoming fall wedding! Congratulations to Esther and Brian!
