We met Lalaine and Shingo on a perfect weekday morning at San Francisco City Hall for a gorgeous micro wedding, steeped in meaning and radiating joy. They opted for a private ceremony on the Mayor’s Balcony (see “How to Get Married at City Hall!”). A cellist accompanied them with deep and resonating music which floated through the building as their closest friends and family gathered. The guests were dressed in exquisite minimalism, the ladies in white dresses and the men in dark suits. They made San Francisco City Hall look like it was made for this event!

We absolutely loved Lalaine’s long-sleeved gown and cathedral-length veil. She was all minimalist classic beauty, but with the addition of a modern and romantic deep v neckline trimmed with lace. Her simple updo highlighted her sparkling eyes and beautiful smile. Her dress looked perfect against her soon-to-be husband’s tailored suit as we took photos along the grand staircase, fourth-floor galleries, and in the windows.  

It is clear to us that the couple is bound for a wonderful life. They were surrounded by the perfect amount of friends and family, and were clearly loved and admired by all of them! They also really showed how magical a San Francisco City Hall wedding can be. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day, Lalaine and Shingo!

Reserving the Mayor’s Balcony for a San Francisco City Hall wedding is a wonderful micro wedding option. The private ceremony gives you enough leeway to take your time in the space, allows you to skip the registration line, and allows you to have up to 100 guests! City Hall also has a list of approved musicians, so you can quickly and easily add some musical accompaniment to your ceremony.
